Uncovered stirrups scratch and dent your stirrup leathers and the flaps of your saddle, needlessly devaluing your investment.  

But fabric pocket covers get dirty and need to be laundered.  They are easily lost, and are usually left behind in the cross-ties so they can’t be applied to your stirrups when you need them most – right before you run up your stirrups!

Our Slide and Slap stirrup covers are simply better!

 Their sleek, minimalist construction is professional and tidy and solves the inconvenience of pocket covers!  Sand, grit, mud and water simply wipe away.

Both the Slide and Slap styles are compatible with a traditional dual-flap saddle.  They travel undetected under the flap of your saddle while you ride until you dismount and are ready to run up your stirrups. 

The Slide   

“Slides” in place along its tether to the outside of your saddle.  Once your stirrups are in place, the extra leather passes through the smile and your stirrup can be secured with the tabs.

The Slap

is removed from its Velcro tab under the saddle flap and is secured to your stirrup before you run it up. Once in place, the extra leather also passes through the smile.

Only the Slap is compatible with a mono-flap saddle. Once it’s removed from your stirrup, it can be stored unobtrusively on your leather while you ride so it’s always right there, ready for the run-up!
